About Our Contributors

Tom Duffy: Lead Author & Creator

Tom lives in Chicago, Illinois and works in the non-profit sector for physician training.  He has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from The University of Iowa and a Masters of Public Health from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Tom is Oblogatory's creator and lead author.  He loves one-sided ignorance because, honestly, it's the only way he knows how to live.

John O'Connor: Editor & Contributor

John ("Jack") lives in Chicago, Illinois. He is a third year law student at the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, and has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship from The University of Iowa.  Jack is the Executive Lead Articles Editor for The John Marshall Law Review, and is also author and editor of skittering, a wine tasting blog.

Jack serves as the Editor of Oblogatory for most substantive posts.  You can see his work wherever the tagline "Edited by John O'Connor" is found at the end of a post.  Jack also contributes as an author for Oblogatory.

Nick Hoeger: Contributing Author

Nick's name is, in fact, "Nick."  But for his own privacy, the name he's given is merely a portion of his real first name, which will not be divulged due to copyright reasons and for your own safety.  Nick resides in, but is not demographically "from," Iowa City, Iowa.  He owns a motorcycle and participates in numerous activities and events.  Sometimes these events include, but are not limited to, times that are in the nature of being fun.

Nick graduated from the University of Iowa with Bachelor's of Awesomeness in Psychology and Religious Studies.  Nick liked the University and Iowa City so much that he still lives there, working as a Research Assistant in the College of Public Health.  Nick likes the Iowa Hawkeyes, whiskey, beer, and making fun of Tom. He doesn't like one-sided ignorance, nor bees, even though we're all dead if they go extinct.
